INTEGRATIVE NURSE PRACTITIONER

Full Job Description:

If you’re an Integrative Nurse Practitioner (INP), come join our team at BioHeal Ottawa. We are open to an INP who will work either part-time or full-time, but with capacity to work both virtually and in-clinic for visits for patients.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team,

  • Order and administer tests including bloodwork,
    Review and interpret test results to diagnose health problems,

  • Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed,

  • Provide referrals to other practitioners when necessary,

  • Provide after-care/ongoing care information and resources to patients and their families,

  • Have an understanding of complex chronic illness and functional medicine,

  • Recommend antibiotic treatment for Fresh Tick Bites, with guidance.

Applicants must have:

  • A Master’s degree in nursing

  • A current provincial nurse practitioner license

  • 2 years experience as an NP

  • Ability to operate as part of a team

BioHeal Ottawa is hoping to find a confident, outgoing and courteous individual to join our administration team at the front desk.
